Muldrow Lady Gets Book Published

A book signing is scheduled in March for a Muldrow lady who has a passion for hunting as well as writing.Gertie M. (Harvell) Barber is excited about the release of her new book. "The Buck Stops Here - Bullets, Broadheads, Whitetails and Me."Barber said the book shares 25 years of experience in hunting whitetail deer and is dedicated to her dad, T. A. Harvell, who she said taught her how to hunt at a very young age and has always been an inspiration to her."At first when I was writing the stories I only thought about doing it for my family, but the more I wrote, the more I enjoyed writing," Barber said.Published and copyrighted by Publish America, "The Buck Stops Here," is scheduled for release on Jan. 23.Barber said she is looking forward to the book signing which is scheduled at the Muldrow Public Library on Saturday, March 11 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.The Library is located on Shawntell Smith Boulevard across the street from the Muldrow Middle School.
