ABOVE: For Dane Beck, 21, a Local resident of Whitefish, commercial fishing up in Bristol Bay Alaska will be on the back burner after Beck’s release of his new Book Novel “Drifting into the Abyss.” Bookworks will have copies on the shelf later this week. The book is a hard hitting coming of age tale of a young man seeking adventure on the Alaskan Sea’s aboard a fishing boat of raw weatherd Sea Faring men, aka “Salty Dogs”.
