No fears hold Gloria Chananie back

Children’s book author Gloria Chananie of Ridgefield has a life that reads like a best-selling memoir and an imagination that captures the interest of children of all ages, as she does in her latest book, Fearful Frannie’s African Safari.
Ms. Chananie is a successful sculptress, vocalist and writer. She has an eye for the aesthetic, an ear for music and language, and a gift for gab, both oral and written. She credits her father with instilling confidence in her at an early age. “He always told me I could do anything, and I believed him,” she said.
