A local vision soars into its second installment
Cranston Herald, January 17, 2007 by Meri R. Kennedy

Throughout her years in journalism, Cranston resident Laura Clarizio has covered many tragedies involving children. These are some of the hardest stories for any reporter to cover but Clarizio has made her past experiences into a learning lesson for other children and their parents through her book series, “If I Had A Magic Carpet.” She recently released the second book in the series, “If I Had A Magic Carpet II: Key To Kindness.”

“I always intended this to be a series, hoping to provide valuable life lessons as well as adventure. I am hoping the series will keep kids safe but also inspire them to use their imagination and encourage them to read and write. The third book is already written and I am getting ready to write the fourth,” said Clarizio.
