You may be surprised to learn that Dalton is home to several recently published authors. Their lives vary as greatly as their books' subjects. These authors write for different reasons, in different styles, and at different stages in their lives, yet all share the common bond of putting words on paper for others to enjoy.

Ed Crandell

Ed Crandell has done a little bit of everything since moving to Tunnel Hill from his native Missouri seven years ago. The 37-year-old has worked as a painter and electrician and currently installs hardwood flooring and tile for a living. He loves to read, and enjoys writing stories, poetry, music and lyrics. But Crandell recently added a new accomplishment: he took a leap of faith and determination and became a published author.
