God, storm are key to works by poet

After sitting in a slow-falling rain, meditating, and losing herself to find an inner self, poet Debra M. Crowe is ready to write poems.
But the New Orleans native and cradle Catholic's first poems sprang from her first-time attendance at a Baptist church service in 2003, an event that changed her.
