Ephraim Residen's New Book Explores the Will To Get Home
Sanpete Messenger, May 17, 2006 by Lloyd Call

Betty Cutler's book was inspired by the true story of Kathleen Quinlin, a girl of 17, who goes into a coma after a drug overdose. "The story of Kathleen happened about 20 years ago, and it has always haunted me," Cutler said. "After thinking about it for about 10 years, I sat down and wrote the story"

Although fictional, the story gives readers another persepctive into what a comatose person might be experiencing.
