Despite disability, Dean pens first book

If you tend to root for the underdog, then you're going to have to acquire a taste for the "alpha dog."
Kenova native Adam Dean, who has lived his entire life with cerebral palsy, has just completed a task few people -- especially ones who live with the complexities of a speech impediment and a lame right arm -- could manage. In addition to the other successes he has experienced since he was born with cerebral palsy in 1975, Dean is now a published author. His book, "Dawn, the Alpha Dog ... and Related Stories" is being released Sept. 19.
