"Girl From the Shadows" was recently published by author Julie A. Dickson of Somersworth. This fictional novel is Dickson's sixth published work and is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.com.
Her previous books include a poetry book, "Forest Nectars," two children's books: "Caterpillar" and "Fat Cat Buys a Hat" (illustrated by local artist Rob Morini); a fantasy-fiction book called "Chronicles of Dragon Lore," and "The Nine Lives of Here Kitty," which benefits local nonprofit Voice For Animals, a feral cat trap-neuter-return group.
Dickson has been a New Hampshire resident since 1980, lived in Exeter for 20 years, and has been a writer for most of her life. She currently makes her home in Somersworth. She has several new projects using local artistic talent. Much of her work captures teen and life issues, written with sensitivity and humor.
