Neighbors Bookstore to hold booksigning for 'Streams of the Soul' author Saturday

A son of the West, Craig Downer was born in Nevada and raised in Nevada and California within a 50-mile radius around Lake Tahoe. At an early age he demonstrated an affinity for the natural, free world, much of which was akin to art and took an artistic expression. He became a fine nature photographer and began putting his thoughts to paper.
Downer attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he received training and education in a wide variety of courses on ecology, evolution, zoology and botany. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from UC Berkeley and went on to earn a masters of science degree at the University of Nevada, Reno.
