‘Best of Davis County’ sure bets for Christmas giving

The second annual 'Best of Davis County' gift guide is here with selections from the best artists in the county. Judging included the following criteria:
Books: (1) flow of language, ease of comprehension, word-smithing, (2) thorough development of characters and/or topic, (3) quality of illustrations and relevance to story and/or text, (4) unique perspectives and/or research, (5) over-all layout and ease of use, and (6) cover layout and appeal.
Music: (1) professionalism of vocals/instrumentals, (2) variety of lyric styles and topics, (3) variation in tempo and composition of music, (4) unique instrumentalization/ arrangement of each selection, and (5) over-all production quality.
