When a family member becomes a stranger

EVERY family has its own story. The Fiores are no different Married in the Great Depression, Erv and Lily Fiore supplied happy times for their children: Amanda, David and Annie, no matter the sacrifices they had to make. Summertime was filled with performing plays outside in the yard , chasing fireflies and singing songs together while identifying the constellations in the nighttime sky. Celebrations were enhanced with Lily's expert fried chicken dinners and strawberry shortcake desserts. Well into his 80s, Erv was even spry enough to build a fence around the yard, repair the drain pipes in the crawl space and climb up on the roof to repair a leak.
