Sonya Gantt, a Mount Clemens resident, wrote "Thou Art My Sister" to encourage others. It is described as a book that every mother should read, and then pass on to her teen daughter.

Life has taught Sonya Gantt that no circumstance is impossible to overcome with faith, education and the support of loved ones.
