Hannah Bell, a young detective, has to solve the mystery of a suspicious death in Chicago of a beautiful, wealthy, young socialite at one of her mother’s lavish parties in Carolyn Rowe Hill’s first mystery “The Dead Angel.” As she tries to decipher the case, Hannah has flashbacks to her summer vacations on Little Traverse Bay.
