Thrillers, advice among new local books

"You Live and You Learn" by Kaitlin Scott of Escondido (PublishAmerica.com, $14.95) is a story of a woman, Reyna, who had to risk a little to find love. The book starts with her first relationship since the birth of her 3-year-old son. Reyna isn't looking for a relationship, but it finds her anyway. However, once she is in the relationship, she finds that there is something missing from her life.
