Minchew completes first in sci-fi trilogy
Chattanooga Times Free Press, March 19, 2006

Jerry Minchew is a former chaplain with the Civil Air Patrol, who has worked in nuclear security since 9/11. His novel, "Knighthawke (PublishAmerica, $18.95)," is the first in a science-fiction trilogy about reluctant hero Michael Walker. While searching for his real parents and twin sister, Walker is in an accident involving a satellite. An alien organism enters his bloodstream, giving him enhanced natural abilities, and Knighthawke is born. The action in the book takes place between 1952-1975.
