Triangular
Reflections explores a plethora of social ills that are present
in the world today. Some of the social issues that are seamlessly
woven into the fabric of this dynamic odyssey include drug
addiction, alcoholism and homelessness. This story spans over
a contemporary period of thirty years. Magnificent backdrops
are sprinkled into this saga from Toronto to New Zealand.
Inspired
from the beginning on this particular journey, Paul E. Morin
has crafted his written debut from personal experience, confidential
knowledge and a vivid imagination. Three years in the making
and eleven rewrites later, this mainstream inspirational novel
has taken on a life of its own.
"I
had absolutely no idea what would come out when I stroked
the first few words. Initially, I was inspired to write this
novel strictly for myself," states the young novelist.
"As fate would have it, Triangular Reflections has continued
to dictate its matter of course to me. This story is thought
provoking. I believe this novel will arouse a full spectrum
of emotions in its reader, and ultimately, I hope that it
impacts people in a positive, uplifting manner."
This
offering was released by America House in partnership with
Publish America recently. "I am grateful to have the
opportunity to share this story with others," Morin says.
In
Triangular Reflections, three major characters dominate the
shadows in the underbelly of this novel.
Emma
is an alcoholic and a drug-addicted prostitute who plies her
trade on the mean streets of Toronto. This young woman's soul
is wrecked and ravaged. She faces a myriad of challenges in
this tale. Emma is placed in the untenable position of having
to make a traumatic decision that will affect her forever!
With incredible difficulty, she does her best to survive each
obstacle and carry on.
Jimmy
is a juvenile delinquent. It is not in the realm of possibilities
that he could expect any other kind of existence.
Frank
is a mechanic who is the proprietor of his own garage. He
is a wonderful, caring man, whose heart has been shattered.
These
characters' lives intertwine with each other, through a complex
and compelling series of dramatic events. Every now and again,
wondrous miracles occur when tragedy is ever present.
"To
write this story and watch its characters evolve in my mind's
eye is a treasured experience," adds the local writer.
Morin has lived in the Essex County area for most of his life.
He and his family currently reside in Kingsville...
