Former school nurse pens first novel

Linwood----In the nurse’s office at local schools, far away on cruise ships and at summer camps, during her monumental decision to leave a bad marriage and become a single mother and throughout her subsequent remarriage, Toni Rich, has watched life and took notice of its joys and sorrows. Now, in a newly published book entitled, “They Stay the Same,” the Atlantic City native has put some of those observations into the journey of three generations of families battling prejudices, not just from the outside world but from inside the confines of their own relationships. It is her first book.
