Capturing Civil War life

CHARLES TOWN — When Charles Whitehair was 14, all he wanted to do was to be able to shoot the musket and revolvers like other Civil War reenactors.

His mother had worked at the Civil War showcase that is now where the KOA Campgrounds in Harpers Ferry is located. And young Whitehair wanted to take part of the acting.
