Local sports writer publishes book
Tri-City Tribune, March 16, 2006

PublishAmerica is proud to announce that it has acquired the rights to publish The Ridge by Daniel Macon (Dan) Brawner, a sports reporter for Delta Publishing, publishers of the Tri-City Tribune.

Executive Director Miranda Prather expressed confidence that Brawner’s book will quickly resonate with audiences.

“The Ridge” is an eloquent work of contemporary fiction that is well-tailored to our characteristic style.” Prather said.

Set in 1937 Arkansas, The Ridge is the story of a young man’s quest for justice after his brother is murdered in a case of mistaken identity----the young man himself being the intended victim. His quest carries him through Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas before bringing him back to his beloved Crowley’s Ridge for the book’s thrilling climax is an historical work which takes place on Crowley’s Ridge in eastern Arkansas.

PublishAmerica champions books by, for and/or about those who surmount profound obstacles by turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Expected release date of The Ridge is on or before August 1, 2006.
