Poetry source of strength for local man

For years, Larry Allen Burns Sr. was focused on mainly one thing: body-building. He spent hours in the gym working out, competed in body-building contests and the sport gave direction to his life. Then, suddenly, Burns' world shifted. During a basketball game, he endured an injury which caused extensive nerve damage to his leg, and halted for at least a few years any ambitions to continue body-building.
