Childhood fantasy with a happy end
AN author who began writing a novel at the age of 12 is finally seeing her words in print.

Nicola Cumberworth, 23, of Chestnut Crescent, started writing Flame, Prince of Accerion when she was only 12 ­ as a hobby because she liked creative writing.

But four years ago she decided to have a serious go at getting the story published, sending her book to 10 or 11 publishers.
