Hitterdal Native Writes Book

Hitterdal native, Dewey Olson, has written a book about growing up in that small community in the mid-part of the last century. Memories of Home, published by Publish America portrays a rural Minnesota lifestyle that has passed us by. In simple, direct language, Olson portrays a world of small farms, horse-drawn implements and kids in charge of their own entertainment.
His book is dedicated to his high school sweetheart and wife of more than 50 years, the former Frances Salomonson, also a graduate of Hitterdal High school.
