Good Time to Catch Up on Nonfprofit Reading
Tacoma News Tribune, June 11,2003, by Liz Heath
"The
"slow" time is beginning early for nonprofit organizations
this year. All it takes in this part of the country is some
sunshine, and we drop everything to get outside in the garden;
on the water, on the trails or at the campgrounds. . . . When
I've done all the heavy reading, I'm going to pick up Pat
Harrington's "Death Stalks the Khmer." Pat is a
Tacoma woman who is an excellent grant writer, especially
when it comes to those monumental challenges - federal grants.
She's also a mystery writer, and her main character, Bridget
O'Hern, is a consultant to nonprofit groups."
