Local author to release first book - at age 21

The list of up-and-coming writers and other artists from Suffolk will officially grow by one on July 30.
That's the day that Crystal Jacobs, 21, will celebrate the release of her first book, "Pearls and Diamonds," published by PublishAmerica LLLP. She'll have a book release party the night before at Main Street Jazz Restaurant.
