Author's stories emerge at 4 a.m.; Sherry Long still keeps her day job

Most of the world is still asleep when Sherry Long is at her creative peak.
She gets up at 4 a.m. every day and writes for an hour or two. "I go to bed at 8 p.m.," she laughed.
