Author sees book turn into movie deal

Local author T.L. Moore knows what kind of hard work needs to be invested in self-promotion after writing a novel.
"It's hard," she said. "There's a lot of doors slammed in your face. Nobody wants to talk to you when you're a new author because they don't know you."
Moore, whose book "Sins of Sunset County" was released just a couple of months ago, is set to sign a contract for a movie deal that will turn "Sins" loose on the big screen within two years.
