PUBLISHED COLLECTION OF EAST TEXAS WRITER'S COLUMNS SLATED FOR RELEASE IN DECEMBER

An East Texas author's writings during a five-year period are set to be published in a book, "The Curmudgeon Report," to be released Dec. 19.
Freelance writer Hugh Neeld said the book is a compilation of his weekly columns that appeared in a Jacksonville newspaper from 2000 to 2005.
The book is available through the Web sites of Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million and the book's publisher, Publish America.
Neeld was born in 1929 and is now retired and living in Tyler. He served in the U.S. Navy and had a career in radio and television.
