There are two major mistakes job hunters make, according to career counselor and Admissions Coordinator for Sacred Heart University’s Stamford campus, Robert Pannone. And those mistakes could be preventing them from finding a job.
The first mistake is relying too heavily on one search method, such as the Internet, or classified ads, Pannone said.
“People have this false sense of security when it comes to the Internet, but when you’ve got millions of people looking at these same career sites, it’s very difficult,” Pannone said.
