Evansville author Robert R. Railey will share his story and sign and sell copies of "Half Drunk, Half Sober" from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 624 S. Green River Road.
The 49-page booklet, a PublishAmerica print-on-demand title, is billed as "the account of a man who was at the gates of Hell, insanity and death, but by the grace of God and with the help of a 12-step program, has been able to crawl out of the bottle."
Railey has scheduled subsequent signing appearances for 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 1 and 2 at Sunshine of the Spirit, at 3830 N. First Ave. Adam Harris, a juror for the 2006 Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit in Henderson, Ky., will present a lecture titled "Wildlife Art Across North America" at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Henderson Fine Arts Center.
