Most men probably don't know what it's like to be a woman, but Mike Reynolds temporarily became a woman and wrote a book about his experience.
For six weeks, Reynolds legally changed his identity and became Lisa Anne Webber.
Reynolds, an adjunct professor of media studies at Sacred Heart University and Quinnipiac University, stopped teaching while living life as a woman. For 14 months, Reynolds prepared to become Lisa, a 35-year-old, overweight, unemployed woman. He developed new skills and transformed his appearance so that he would look, sound and act like a woman. Reynolds didn't want to be perceived as a female impersonator but as a real woman.
