Memoirist recalls being raised in rural Canada

MIDDLETOWN — A city senior wants children to know that living off the land without modern-day conveniences and luxuries wasn’t such a long ago scenario.
Rose Aline Russo penned a 95-page book, "Just a Farm-Raised Canuck," ($16.95) about her life growing up in Memramcook, Canada, more than a half-century ago. Baltimore, Md.-based PublishAmerica rolled out Russo’s biography in December.
