resident writes book

Joy Lee Rutter of Center Ossipee has recently published her first book "A Disturbing Presence," published by Publish America, which will be available in bookstores starting in September.
Rutter is a native of Michigan and moved to New Hampshire in 1996 from Florida. She sacrificed college to marry immediately after graduating from high school. Five sons later, with her marriage beginning to crumble, she began keeping a journal during her pregnancy with her sixth son, just to raise her spirits. Then she began writing essays, “laughing at life,” she says.
