Yonkers college student, Mount Vernon teacher publish novels

A suicidal cancer patient and a comic-book-style superhero are protagonists in recent novels by two authors from White Plains and Yonkers.
Near-death experiences are the common denominator in "The Ledge" by college student Travon Epps and "The Grey Alien" by Mount Vernon teacher Christopher Scott Durant, though that's the only similarity between the two stories.
