" I talked to one of my old teachers from High School today. She told me she is so proud to have a student of hers be famous. She took my press release and put it in the school library. She also wants to put my book there too. I was so excited and it made me feel good. Now everyone will see that I turned out pretty good from when I was in School. "

" I am watching the mail everyday for the check on our books sold this will be our first one I plan on making a copy of it and frame it right along with the dollar we have sold a lot of books in our sales so I thought the author was supposed to get paid for what he sold we know the book is selling real good over seas but we will just half to wait and see how much we get. It is still exciting to us. "

" I have sold books in restaurants, parks, YMCA's, schools, churches, bingo halls, Libraries, barber shops, anyplace where there are people. I was recently at a restaurant with some friends and had my book on the table next to me. The waitress noticed the cover and made a comment about it. I told her I was the author and she thought that was really cool. She asked what the book was about, I didn't say anything I just handed the book to her. She flipped through the book, wanted to know the price, when I told her, she purchased a book, autographed of course. She showed the book to the cook, and other waitress and I had sold five books before I left. It paid for breakfast plus money left over. "

" Just letting everyone know, my first signing was Saturday, and went rather well. The signing was from noon to 4 at Book World in Chillicothe. I sold over 50 books and another15 or so brought in ones they had already bought. Much to my surprise with about 10 minutes left in the signing my second grade teacher even walked through the doors. Wow what a feeling!!!!! "

" Went off without a hitch. But I did Sell and signed 20 books and when they ran out All I could do was offer bookmarks and locations for purchasing the book. Not bad for a 2-hour booking. Hope it is a sign of things to come. The signing was at the Freeman Memorial Library in Houston. Pretty exciting actually. I have a different Borders signing this coming weekend in Waco and a Barnes&Noble signing next weekend in Temple. "

" I personally am flattered when someone passes my books on to others. It tells me they enjoyed it enough to recommend it to someone else and it allows the second, third and so on to know who I am and what my books are. They in turn will tell someone (hopefully) and we have the piramid effect. "

" There was a book signing last Saturday and I think it was a pretty good turnout, since it was at Piggly Wiggly Grocery in a small town. I made several good contacts and one, the mayor of the town, owns a bookstore and he wants to put my book in the store. Each new person I meet is a potential buyer. "
